1. There are few people in the scene that will tear into the quarter panels of a newer car, but hell if it's going to make things look better why not? The first step in this long tedious process would be to remove the outer taillights. Inside the trunk there are a couple of panels you will need to remove in order to remove the 4 bolts per light. Once the light is unbolted unhook the lights themselves.

2. Once the light is out, we measured a template with the stock IS300 taillight and then used the template to see where we would need to cut out of the quarter panel 3. Once everything was measured out we took the hacksaw into the inner light box since we were not worried about bending up a straight panel. Once we hit the outside a dye grinder was used to cut the stock Honda metal.
